Charities We Support

Veteran Brewing Co.'s mission is to raise funds to support a broad range of projects around Australia that help Australian military veterans, and their families.

We don't believe in reinventing the wheel. Instead, we identify the biggest challenges facing Veterans, and partner with what we believe to be the best charity partner in that space.

Although we only started producing our own beers in 2022, we're proud to have already made donations to a broad range of charities.

Follow our journey below, and see how your support is making a difference to Veterans and their families.

Corporal Cameron Baird was killed in action in Afghanistan in 2013. For his heroic efforts on that day, CPL Baird was awarded Australia's highest military honour, the Victoria Cross.

This is in addition to CPL Baird being awarded the Medal for Gallantry, Australia's 3rd highest military honour, from an earlier engagement with the enemy.

Cam's Cause is a not-for-profit organisation, dedicated to maintaining Cam's memory, and raising funds to support soldier welfare.

Wounded Heroes is a national community organisation, established in 2007.

Many military families face financial hardship directly related to their service to our country. This hardship can and does lead to increases in relationship breakdown, veteran homelessness, mental and physical health issues and ultimately, suicide rates.

Wounded Heroes plays a critical role in addressing these challenges, by providing short term emergency relief payments to individuals and families.

The Disaster Relief Australia mission is to unite the skills and experience of military veterans with emergency services specialists to rapidly deploy disaster relief teams in Australia and around the world in the wake of natural disasters.

Founded in 2016, DRA has deployed hundreds of volunteers across the country, and around the world.  They work hard to help the most vulnerable in need, and work alongside local agencies and all levels of government.

Led by Veterans, Disaster Relief Australia not only provides critical support when Australians need it the most, but improves Veteran's wellbeing by providing a new sense of purpose, which is so critical after leaving the Defence Force.

Established in 2014 by The Defence Bank Foundation, the Defence Community Dogs (DCD) program exists to help Veterans improve their lives. One paw at a time.

We provide highly trained Assistance Dogs to serving and ex-serving Australian Defence Force members, who need physical and emotional support for mood, depressive and anxiety disorders including Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).

This unique win-win-win program rescues and re-homes dogs, rehabilitates inmates and helps Veterans to rebuild - in some cases, literally saving their lives.

The Veteran Benevolent Fund (VBF) is the charitable arm of the RSL & Services Clubs Association in NSW.

THE VBF's objectives run parallel to those of Veteran Brewing; to help fund projects that assist veterans and their families, whilst raising community awareness regarding the needs of ex-serving men and women.

Many projects have already benefited from VBF support, from Defence Community Dogs to Equine Therapy programs.
